Landscape painting allows me to revisit the places that have stayed with me—whether discovered while traveling, held quietly in my memory or completely dreamed up from my imagination. I’m drawn to the way a particular view, quality of light, or familiar stretch of countryside can instantly bring back the feeling of a place and time. Through paint, I love interpreting those memories rather than simply recreating them, allowing color, atmosphere, and emotion to shape each scene. Each painting becomes a way of holding onto a place that has meant something to me and sharing a little of that experience with others.
